“Wonder is the beginning of wisdom.”  Socrates

The other morning, somehow Audrey got on the topic of how many people in the world might be taking a photograph at that particular moment while she was eating her breakfast.  I told her that was a pretty deep thought, and then I said, “Don’t think too much like mommy does.”

To which she replied quite firmly, “I’m not thinking, I’m wondering.”

What a powerful distinction.  To wonder- to be curious, to be filled with admiration, amazement, or awe.

On that note, I will be taking a break from my own thinking, away from my computer for my regular posting this week, but I’ll be back in a few days.
