Saying I Love You

Just thinking about how we waited ten months into our dating relationship to say those words.

It wasn’t my idea- but yours. You wanted to be sure it meant something- something more than early infatuation or attraction.
I’d be so tempted to say it, but I’d hold my tongue waiting for you.
Ten months- and then I heard it. How sweet it was to hear and say those words for the first time.
